Screen Machine’s 4043TR

Screen Machine Industries showcased its new 4043TR impact crusher at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017, where company representatives offered some insights on the portable plant’s features and benefits.

According to Screen Machine, the 4043TR is the company’s first recirculating crusher. Taking up a more compact footprint, the crushing plant features a large, two-deck screen that’s fed directly from the crusher. Sized product is delivered off the fines conveyor while an additional radial conveyor takes overs back to the hopper. The additional radial overs conveyor can also be positioned to the side for stockpiling.

A programmable mobile controller (PMC) is built into the crusher, as well. This feature comes standard on the 4043TR, offering customers and dealers the opportunity to monitor diagnostics.

Also, the 4043TR is the first Screen Machine equipment to feature a Volvo Penta engine, the company says. The Volvo Penta engine is Tier 4 compliant, offering Screen Machine an advanced emission-reduction technology. A Tier 3 Caterpillar engine is an option for the impact crusher, as well.
