Hitachi Construction Machinery Loaders America (HCMA) will debut new technology, wheel loader models and support tools at ConExpo-Con/Agg, exhibiting in the North Hall (Booth N11539) of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Hitachi will display the company’s complete wheel loader product lineup designed for mining and heavy construction operations and compact equipment operators.

The displays will include new models to the Hitachi Dash-6 wheel loader line, which features Tier 4 Final engines equipped with SCR systems that use a simple DEF system instead of a diesel particulate filter (DPF). According to the company, eliminating the need for a DPF equates to lower engine temperatures and no DPF regens is required.

In addition, the Dash-6 loaders feature 360-degree operator visibility and are equipped with the company’s ConSite precise asset management suite of tools at its show booth.

Since acquiring KCM Corp. from Kawasaki Industries in 2016, HCMA has pushed to expand its product and service offerings to the U.S. market.

“We are thrilled with the progress we’ve made with our equipment offerings, dealer and contractor support efforts and overhaul of our United States operating facilities,” says Al Quinn, managing director of HCMA. “Ten years ago, Hitachi Construction Machinery Group and Kawasaki Heavy Industries entered into an agreement to develop a reliable and technologically advanced line of wheel loaders, and we think attendees will be impressed with the results of our efforts.

“However, our commitment to customers didn’t stop there. We’ve completely restructured the organization, opened a new HCMA U.S. headquarters, and expanded our parts warehouse and remanufacturing facility. All of these endeavors, along with the name change from KCM Corp. to Hitachi Construction Machinery Loaders in 2018, helps us deliver productive, reliable and cost-efficient wheel loaders, service and support for our customers.”
