Hitachi: SkyAngle
SkyAngle, a camera monitoring system from Hitachi, takes synthesized images from several wide-angle cameras mounted on trucks and displays them in the cab. The system results in a bird’s eye view of surrounding machinery. In addition to the proximity of machinery, operators can switch to zoom display or wide display modes, enabling more comprehensive monitoring of a wide area. Operators can quickly grasp what is occurring around machinery, such as position of other equipment, service vehicles or people.
