The QMJ Group, which manages the Hillhead trade show, postponed this summer’s event by 12 months.

According to The QMJ Group, the decision to postpone the outdoor trade show in the United Kingdom was made following a review of the government roadmap to ease COVID-19 restrictions announced in late February.

Hillhead was scheduled to take place June 22-24 this year.

“Under these guidelines, it is clear that the show will not be able to operate legally in June this year,” says Richard Bradbury, Hillhead event director. “Our priority is to provide the Hillhead experience that our exhibitors and visitors have come to expect, but with the continuing uncertainty around travel restrictions and social distancing measures, this is not achievable in 2021.

“By delaying the show until June 2022, the full benefits of a completed vaccination program will have filtered through, allowing us to deliver a safe and vibrant event.”

The 2022 Hillhead will take place June 21-23 at the Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, United Kingdom.

Hillhead Digital is still scheduled to take place March 30-31 this year.
