After boasting a record-breaking event in 2018, Hillhead organizers have decided to add 2,200 meters to the show ground for the 2020 event. The space will come from extending the show ground into the quarry face demonstration area.

The outdoor space for the 2020 show is currently on track to be sold out by late autumn, show organizers say, which is why they decided to expand the space. Harvey Sugden, Hillhead event manager, adds show ground is filling quickly.

“The deadline for existing exhibitors to rebook their stand space is approaching and we already have a growing list of new enquiries waiting to get into the show,” Sugden says. “As a result, we are currently exploring plans to expand our outdoor capacity for next year.”

P&Q attended the 2018 show, which featured 546 exhibitors and a number of new product developments.

The 2020 show will take place June 23-25 in Buxton, England.
