Ergodyne added the new six-pocket GloWear 8346Z two-tone high-visibility Class 3 surveyor vest to its line of safety apparel.

According to Ergodyne, the 8346Z is a budget-friendly option with plenty of storage to keep the necessities of the workday at hand.

Built using American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-compliant breathable mesh and 2-in. ANSI-compliant reflective tape set on a 3.5-in. contrasting mesh background, the 8346Z is the Class 3 brother of the 8246Z, with the addition of sleeves giving it a boost of conspicuity.

“Just like its Class 2 counterpart, the 8346Z is loaded with storage options that workers love,” says Chris Cota, Ergodyne product manager.

Available in lime and orange, the storage options include a left chest dual ID badge holder and cellphone pocket; two large lower outer pockets capable of fitting iPad minis; and a right chest dual pocket with four pen/pencil holders.

“Being seen is such a major part of being safe on the job, and it’s a message that deserves extra special attention in the midst of construction season, ” says Tom Votel, president and CEO of Ergodyne.
