Haver & Boecker Niagara to feature F-class at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2020

Haver & Boecker Niagara‘s F-Class portable plant, which includes technologies to extend equipment longevity and improve setup time in quarry and mining operations, will be on display at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2020.

The company will have the plant in booth S5936.

The F-Class portable plant features a custom-built chassis equipped with six hydraulic run-on jacks that level the plant, eliminating the need for cribbing, and ensuring the chassis stays level during operation, minimizing equipment wear.

“Portable plants should not only give producers the flexibility to move from site to site or within a quarry, they should also be fast and easy to set up,” says Karen Thompson, president of Haver & Boecker Niagara’s North American and Australian operations. “We are committed to producing portable vibrating screen plants that possess these qualities, with the same durability, longevity and minimal maintenance as stationary vibrating screens.”

According to the company, producers can move and set up the F-Class portable plant in less than 30 minutes, and takedown can be completed in less than 20 minutes – requiring just the lowering of the unit so it can be moved to another location. The chassis’ hydraulic system raises the vibrating screen to its usual inclined operating position of 20 degrees.

The F-Class also features a bolted-on suspension that can be removed during operation to eliminate the risk of damage, according to the company, and the heavy-duty finish sandblasted and coated chassis allows for optimal wear life and rust resistance.

Furthermore, the F-Class offers up to three screen decks, with its feed conveyor, cross conveyor and fines conveyor hydraulically operated for material placement. The portable plant can be customized to include a crusher, conveyors or other components to boost productivity, too, according to Haver & Boecker Niagara.
