Granite Construction logoGranite opened a new office in Mesa, Arizona, to serve the Phoenix metropolitan area – including Maricopa, Yavapai and Pinal counties.

The Phoenix area office joins Granite’s Arizona region headquartered in Tucson. According to Granite, the Phoenix area office employs nearly 300 people and has been serving clients throughout Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas since 1980.

“While Granite has been providing construction services throughout Arizona for more than 40 years, the Phoenix area office provides a local team dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service to our clients and communities in central Arizona,” says Todd Hill, Granite regional vice president.

According to Hill, Phoenix is home to growing industries such as education, manufacturing, technology and health care.

“Our dedicated Granite team is well-positioned to provide the infrastructure needed to support that growth,” Hill says.

In addition to the Phoenix area office announcement, Granite made three executive appointments at the end of January. Jigisha Desai was named executive vice president and chief strategy officer while Lisa Curtis was appointed CFO and Tim Gruber was appointed senior vice president of human resources.
