Genesis Attachments named David Palvere as general manager. He will oversee the company’s Superior, Wisconsin-based location.

In his new role, Palvere will be responsible for sales, finance, operations, engineering and administrative functions. He will also collaborate with NPK Construction Equipment leadership, which purchased Genesis in May 2019, on strategy and direction for the company’s continued growth.

Palvere, who has been with Genesis for 20 years, most recently served as director of business development. He has held various leadership and sales positions with the company.

Genesis also named its new Midwest regional sales manager late last year, promoting Matt Orvedahl to oversee the company’s Midwest territory.

Founded in 1997, Genesis Attachments manufactures shears, grapples, concrete processors and specialty attachments for the scrap processing, demolition, material handling and offshore decommissioning industries. Genesis’ U.S. manufacturing facility has 117 employees and its overseas operations have an additional 15 employees.
