Farmer Companies, a construction materials producer operating throughout the Midwest, acquired California-based Folsom Ready Mix (FRM).

FMI Capital Advisors, which served as the sell-side financial advisor on the deal, reported the sale.

Founded in 1999, FRM is a ready-mixed concrete producer in northern California that operates three locations in the Sacramento and Anderson markets. The platform deal represents a regional expansion for Farmer Companies.

“We have the utmost respect for the Folsom Ready Mix operation and are excited to have them become a part of our team,” says Farmer Companies in a written statement. “We will continue to operate as Folsom Ready Mix Inc. We are fortunate to have the executive management team and all personnel remaining with the company.

According to FMI, vice president of sales and finance Derek Miller and vice president of operations Josh Neff will remain with Farmer Companies long term.
