Eriez appoints operations director, senior sales director

Eriez promoted Dan Zimmerman to operations director. Zimmerman, who has been with the company since 2004, most recently served as its director of business development.

In his new role, Zimmerman will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Eriez-USA operations teams.

“Dan will lead his teams in developing and implementing manufacturing, quality and productivity improvements to reduce costs and achieve growth objectives,” says Tim Gland, vice president and general manager at Eriez. “His experience, vast product knowledge and dedication will ensure his continued success with Eriez as he moves into this expanded leadership position as operations director.”

Prior to joining Eriez, Zimmerman held positions at Texas Instruments in Houston and Kennametal in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Gannon University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Eriez also promoted Dave Heubel to the newly created position of senior sales director.

Heubel joined Eriez in 1990 as a technical sales representative and has served in various roles in his nearly three decades with the company. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management, a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in business administration from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.

“In his new role, Dave will oversee sales in the United States, Canada, Central and South America and select Middle Eastern countries,” Gland says. “He will provide leadership to the sales team in developing and implementing strategies to achieve the Eriez-USA sales and profitability growth objectives. His enthusiasm, business acumen, management skills and extraordinary expertise will be critical to maintaining and growing our Eriez-USA business.”
