Eriez adds suspended magnets to quick-ship program

Eriez now offers its CP-20 and TP-25 suspended permanent magnets as part of its Quick Ship program.

The program allows for next-day, five-day or ten-day shipping times for designated Eriez products.

The suspended magnets come with self-cleaning and manual-cleaning designs and offer a permanent magnetic field combined with a small installation footprint, making them ideal for mobile systems, according to the company. The self-cleaning magnets also offer hydraulic drives for installation locations where power is not readily available.

Eriez adds that the CP-20 series magnets provide a continuous and uniform magnetic field across the feed belt to remove damaging tramp iron, while the TP-25 series magnets have a twin-pole magnetic circuit to provide maximum ferrous removal at higher suspension heights.

Operators of the magnets are seeing cost savings when installing the units upstream with crushers, shredders, grinders and other size-reduction equipment, Eriez says.

According to Chris Ramsdell, Eriez separation product manager, demand is expanding considerably in correlation with the growing trend for mobile systems. These systems include mobile recycling and aggregate processing plants.

“Installation is quick and equipment protection – along with accompanying savings – is immediate,” Ramsdell says.
