Epiroc will open a new regional service center for the Northeast, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The service center will be up and running by Oct. 15, according to Epiroc.

The Northeast service center will feature a state-of-the-art service shop, according to the company, for mining and construction equipment. It will also serve as home base for field service technicians.

In addition, staff at the service center will be available for customer support and to provide resources.

“We are committed to being a partner for out customers, not just a manufacturer,” says Jon Torpy, general manager and president at Epiroc. “We look forward to improving and expanding our service support offerings to our valued customers in the Northeast region.”

Existing service centers will continue to support customers in the Northeast until the Harrisburg service center becomes fully operational. In the meantime, some functions of those service center will transfer over to the Harrisburg center, the company says.

Epiroc is also further investing in its distribution center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This facility currently houses rock drilling tools. The location is expected to stock additional inventory parts by the end of the year to better support customers in the region.

Epiroc relocated its headquarters to the Denver area earlier this year.

Epiroc is a global company that provides innovative drill rigs, rock excavation, and construction equipment and tools, along with service products and solutions.
