Epiroc added Chicago Pneumatic hydraulic excavator attachments to its product line as part of the company’s split from Atlas Copco.

Among the former Chicago Pneumatic hydraulic attachments added by Epiroc are:

  • 14 RX breakers for applications including demolition, quarrying, building renovation, landscaping, road construction and rock excavation.
  • Six RC compactors for effectively compacting soil in trenching, ground-leveling, embankment construction, driving in and pulling out posts, sheet piling and other formworks.
  • 18 CG grapples designed for demolition, scrap and waste handling, rip-rap and construction-and-demolition sort.

The Epiroc RX breakers, RC compactors and CG contractor grapples will still feature the same reliability and high performance, with support from Epiroc’s hydraulic attachments organization.

“The biggest change customers will experience is more support,” says Matt Cadnum, Epiroc vice president. “The R&D is the same, and so are the manufacturing facilities. But as Epiroc, we’re able to offer the support of a group completely dedicated to increasing customer productivity with hydraulic attachments.”

All attachments will be backed by a group of Epiroc manufacturer representative agencies, as well as the company’s new Hydraulic Attachment Competency Center in Independence, Ohio.
