Elrus Aggregate Systems

Elrus Aggregate Systems’ 6-ft. x 12-ft. three-deck screening plant was designed and developed with an emphasis on increasing plant efficiency, reducing size and weight, and minimizing maintenance and downtime. To end users, this means a smaller footprint and less power is required to produce capacities equal to or greater than 6-ft. x 20-ft. and 7-ft. x 20-ft. machines, the company says. The screen design incorporates two screening sections on each deck, offering the benefits of both horizontal and inclined screening. The primary high-angle panel at the feed end results in rapid fines removal, while the secondary lower angle panel results in accurate sizing and stratification associated with horizontal screening. Two 13-hp electric vibrating motors power the plant. In addition, because there is no eccentric shaft, bearings, gears, seals, sheaves or guards to replace, there’s less to break down and no parts inventory to warehouse.
