The Vortex Spiral Clean Pulley’s cutting-edge design is for harsh operating conditions and for those applications where the uninterrupted operation of the pulley is a must. It offers more efficient self-cleaning ability than standard wing pulleys, as well as smoother running with reduced vibration – improving sealing at transfer points and reducing the noise level. Its spiral design aids in belt tracking by moving the belt gently from the center of the pulley to the opposing edges with equal force, while an exclusive continuous flight design prevents wing folding. Standard features include an abrasion-resistant contact bar, plus the 106 Series Keyless Locking Elements, which allow for infinite placement on the shaft and transfer torque more efficiently than standard keyed bushings. It’s available in the Douglas Integra Series, with bearings mounted inside the pulley for a lower overall profile and enhanced safety. A three-year warranty is standard.
