Douglas Manufacturing offered a sneak peek at its plans for the upcoming ConExpo-Con/Agg, where the company will exhibit in Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth C31068).

Douglas will feature its complete line of conveyor products, including Optimus integral end disc pulleys and the Vortex self-cleaning pulley. Douglas will also launch a new belt tracking idler called the Wrangler.

In addition, Douglas will launch the Helios line of manual and self-cleaning electromagnetic separators at the show. Douglas electromagnetic separators are used in applications where a stronger magnetic field is required due to suspension height, belt speed, burden depth or customer specification. Electromagnetic separators are oil-filled and utilize state-of-the-art anodized aluminum coils, expansion tanks and solid core construction for maximum performance and longevity, according to Douglas.

Beyond these separators, a new line of Assurance metal detectors completes Douglas’ metal separation and detection lines. The compact design allows installation in almost any application, and the sensitivity can be adjusted if only larger pieces of metal are to be detected.

According to Douglas, the control unit has self-adjusting electronics housed in a durable, metal cabinet. High-quality components ensure reliability and longevity, the company adds, and power switches and output relays are gold plated to provide reliable service. The unit can be integrated into an existing plant control system without any extra components.
