Doosan: DL550-3
The Doosan DL550-3 wheel loader is designed specifically for quarries, mines and other large material-handling applications. The DL550-3 has an operating weight of 69,655 lbs., a breakout force of 58,450 lbs. and a dump height of 11 ft., 2 in. The new, automatic-reversing cooling fan, controlled via a switch or a programmed preset timeframe, helps to keep the machine’s cooling system clean in dusty conditions. Operators can set upper and lower limits for the lift arm and bucket positions from within the cab, reducing repetitive cycle times. Following brief inactivity, the DL550-3 enters an auto-idle state of 750 rpm, which results in noise reduction and fuel savings.
