Deister co-owner, chairman celebrates milestone anniversary

Irwin Deister, co-owner and chairman of Deister Machine Co., recently celebrated 65 years of service to the family-owned company.

Irwin, along with President Mark Deister, represent the family’s third generation in the company. Both serve as co-CEOs, and each owns 50 percent of the company’s shares.

Irwin is a past chairman of the Manufacturers & Services Division of the National Stone Association. He is also a life member of the board of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association.

Deister Machine Co., founded in 1912, is a manufacturer of feeding, scalping and screening equipment for the aggregate and mining industries.
