Command Alkon, which specializes in integrated software and technology solutions for the heavy building materials industry, added John Pumpelly to its executive leadership team as CFO.

According to Command Alkon, Pumpelly has more than 30 years of financial, strategic and operational leadership experience with technology and business services companies. Prior to joining Command Alkon, he served as CFO at Updater, a property and marketplace technology company whose solutions facilitate household moves.

“John is a proven CFO with a superior track record of delivering results and creating value,” says Martin Willoughby, CEO of Command Alkon. “He is an experienced and extremely well-rounded leader in global finance who brings a compelling blend of strategic and capital allocation discipline. John is a great cultural fit with the leadership team, and we are thrilled to have him.”

In addition to Pumpelly, Command Alkon recently appointed Steve Cox as vice president of customer success. Cox will lead Command Alkon’s customer success team to make sure customers realize the maximum business value from the company’s solutions.

Command Alkon also recently added Brett Bertz to its senior leadership team. Bertz was named senior vice president of global professional services. The company says he is responsible for designing and executing strategies that ensure services are efficiently meeting and exceeding customer needs during implementation.
