ClearSpan Structures, a manufacturer of metal and fabric building solutions, completed construction on a new manufacturing facility.

The company says the $10 million dollar project was completed as an investment to help meet increasing customer demand.

“We’re pleased to introduce the new facility,” says Barry Goldsher, ClearSpan president. “It’s an opportunity for us to expand our manufacturing abilities and bring more jobs to eastern Iowa.”

The 94,000-sq.-ft. facility sits on ClearSpan’s 60-acre campus in Dyersville, Iowa. The new building and technology, the company says, are expected to bring an additional 75 to 100 jobs to the local economy and allow the company to completely customize customer-specific solutions.

ClearSpan says the facility will also reduce the time between customer inquiry and project completion. Additionally, the company will produce more versatile and unique buildings at a lower cost, all while maintaining the high quality.

“ClearSpan’s new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was essential to support our robust growth,” says Geoff Ching, director of sales for ClearSpan. “To be able to offer our industry-leading value and rapid turnaround times, we simply had to increase our manufacturing capacity, while remaining vertically integrated.”
