Materials washing specialists CDE Global has incorporated in the United States, opened an office in Siler City, N.C., and launched a new website geared to the U.S. market.

For the past 20 years, CDE Global has supplied wet processing technology for quarries and mines with equipment operating throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Latin America and North America.

The company says its success in North America, particularly along the East Coast, led to the formation of CDE Global Inc. A new base in North Carolina in conjunction with a new U.S. Partner — American Crushers and Screens LLC — will facilitate additional growth throughout the country.

In addition, CDE Global Inc. joined the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and NSSGA. It plans to join a number of regional associations as well as it seeks to build a project portfolio in the near future.

To develop the U.S. market, the company appointed a dedicated U.S. team led by Kevin McNamee, Business Development Manager for North America.

The arrival of the company in the United States signifies a significant development of the washing and classification equipment available in the U.S. market, according to Tony Convery, chairman and founder of CDE Global. “We have spent considerable time in the United States over the last 18 months,” he says. “And this has confirmed to us that there are huge opportunities for us to help operators to improve the efficiency of their operations.”

Following ConExpo-Con/Agg – where it will formally launch its new M4500 wash plant for construction, mining, recycling and industrial sands applications — CDE will hold a U.S. open week event in late March.
