Caterpillar to construct Arizona division headquarters

Caterpillar plans to open a $43 million division headquarters facility in Tucson, Arizona.

Sundt Construction received approval to move forward with construction of the facility, according to News 4 Tucson (KVOA). The new headquarters facility will house the company’s surface mining and technologies division.

Caterpillar hopes to occupy the facility by March 2019, according to KVOA. About 600 Caterpillar employees will work in the new headquarters once it opens.
