Buffalo Wire Works’ modular hybrid screening panel addresses the open area and throughput issues often encountered by producers running all polyurethane screen systems, the company says. This is achieved by embedding high-efficiency PFX self-cleaning screen technology into a polyurethane frame under high tension, with the tensioned feature allowing for increased support bar spacing to maximize the self-cleaning of the system. The increased support bar spacing also results in improved wear life, the company adds, as the vibrating wires naturally absorb and dissipate impact energy far more efficiently. The net result is increased wear life of the modular self-cleaning screen panel with high open area, greater throughput and increased efficiency, according to the company.
