Barry Equipment, a Doosan dealer, is adding a new location in South Windsor, Connecticut.

The new 5,000-sq.-ft. facility will serve customers throughout Connecticut, western Massachusetts and New York state. According to Doosan, Tom Barry started Barry Equipment in 1985 and the company has been a Doosan dealer since 2004.

“We really enjoy working with our clients in Connecticut, and we just felt that adding another brick-and-mortar location would give us a stronger foothold to provide easier access for our current customer base and help build our relationships with new customers in the area,” says Joe Barry, operations manager at Barry Equipment.

According to Joe, the new location will be a full-service dealership with over-the-counter parts sales. The facility will include a service center, new inventory on display and a sales team. The company plans to add an additional 5,000 sq. ft. of space to the building sometime this year.

“We are excited for Tom and Joe Barry and the employees of Barry Equipment as they add another location,” says Adam Howard, regional director of Doosan Infracore North America. “Barry Equipment is a top-performing Doosan dealer and has built a loyal customer base in their area. We expect their new location to cement their footprint even more in the construction industry.”

Barry Equipment sells Doosan articulated dump trucks, crawler excavators, wheel excavators and mini excavators, wheel loaders, log loaders and material handlers. The dealership also offers machine rentals and parts to provide customers with a full-service experience.

This Barry Equipment facility in South Windsor is the third offering Doosan equipment. The other two are in Webster, Massachusetts.
