Tru-Trainer conveyor belt tracking idlers from ASGCO react as the conveyor belt moves off center, maintaining the belt’s original position while minimizing belt wear and conveyor downtime. Because it does not rely on contact with the belt edge to guide the belt, belt edge damage, which occurs frequently with a number of tracking systems, is avoided. The Tru-Trainer employs a unique tracking action that reacts immediately if the belt begins to drift off center, ASGCO says. The center pivot is unique and simple, consisting of a stainless steel pin within a solid steel center shaft. Its stainless steel internal pivot that is perpendicular to the plane of the belt, as well as its rubber-covered shell and tapered ends, help to actuate the trainer immediately as the belt moves off center. It is always reacting to keep the belt centered.
