AGG1 2019: Around Indianapolis: Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum

Located at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the museum has gathered one of the world’s largest and varied collections of racing, antique and classic cars. More than 30 cars located at the museum are Indianapolis 500 winners.

Admission to the museum is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-15 years old are $5.

A year-round buss tour around the racetrack is available, weather permitting or if the facility is in use. The 90-minute tour takes guests around the historic facility and provides guests a look at the oval track, media center, Pagoda, victory platform, garage area and a Gasoline Alley suite. Additionally, guests can stand on the famous “Yard of Bricks” at the start/finish line.

A “Kiss the Bricks” tour gives guests a lap of the famous speedway overall narrated by a former driver. At the end of the tour, guest can kiss the bricks just like winners of the Indianapolis 500. Admission for adults is $20 and children 6-15 are $10.
