The Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) promoted Liz McCabe to vice president of education and programs.

“I am pleased to announce the promotion of Liz McCabe to the position of vice president of education and programs,” says Brian McGuire, president and CEO at AED.

In her new role, McCabe will be responsible for AED’s accreditation, apprenticeship and seminar development, and will eventually be responsible for overseeing The AED Foundation fundraising, staff and consultants, according to AED. She will also serve on the AED management team.

Prior to this position, McCabe served as senior director of education and programming at AED, where she was responsible for managing conference programming and the Leadership Development Institute, as well as all live and online AED Foundation management programs.

“Liz McCabe has been a consummate professional during her time at AED and is well-deserving of this promotion,” says Jason Blake, executive vice president and COO at AED. “The online programs and seminars she manages have been a critical function of AED and The AED Foundation for member engagement and education during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
