Xylem opens Florida dewatering solutions branch

By |  February 12, 2014

Xylem – a global water technology provider that enables customers to transport, treat, test and efficiently use water in public utility, residential and commercial building services and industrial and agricultural settings — opened a dewatering solutions branch in Pompano Beach, Fla.

The 12,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with shop and office space, and sits on more than two acres. It will be managed by Mike Sturgill, the company’s current Florida branch manager.

“Finding the right building is always a challenge,” Sturgill says. “But we knew Southeast Florida required a local presence from us to provide our customers with the service and support they’ve come to expect from the Godwin brand.”

The company says it plans to add sales and support staff. Todd Huffman, Florida regional manager, also will work at the facility along with a salesperson already experienced in the area.

“The facility and space available to us now will be invaluable for meeting the requirements of larger projects quickly and efficiently,” Huffman says.
