W.S. Tyler: Hydro-Clean
The Hydro-Clean washing system from W.S. Tyler can now be mounted on chassis for movement from place to place. Like the original Hydro-Clean, the portable unit cleans deleterious material from aggregate, recycled and other minerals. In the process, W.S. Tyler says the Hydro-Clean uses up to 75 percent less water than traditional washers and 15 percent less energy. Water consumption ranges from 27 to 211 gallons per minute, depending on application and model size. The company adds that up to 90 percent of the total wastewater volume can be recycled and reused in the Hydro-Clean, which requires 10 percent freshwater to operate effectively.
