Volvo Construction Equipment: L250G wheel loader

By |  January 30, 2013

Volvo Construction Equipment’s L250G wheel loader falls into the 39-ton weight category. According to the company, its 9.0-cu.-yd. rehandling bucket fills a truck in only two passes. A new engine and driveline system were developed to improve productivity and lower emissions, as well as offer greater smoothness, serviceability and operator comfort. The L250G features a Z-bar loader linkage that allows for high breakout force for digging in hard materials. Volvo says the wheel loader’s heavy-duty linkage, lift arms and cylinders offer high lift capacity and rapid hydraulic reaction. In addition, the L250G is fitted with an Interim Tier 4-certified engine that is married to drivetrain, hydraulics and lifting systems. Load-sensing hydraulics deliver power to hydraulic functions only when needed and without unnecessary oil pumping.
