The Volvo hauler chassis for F-Series articulated haulers makes it easier for customers and expert body builders to adapt standard articulated haulers into special purpose vehicles. The hauler chassis modular concept offers customers a standard articulated hauler, supplied without load body or hoist cylinders. The hauler chassis can be fitted with an ejector body, water tank, hook lift, timber hauler or a fifth wheel to pull a trailer. A bolt-on frame extension is available for the A25F and A30F-based machines. The extension, which is offered in two lengths – 47 in. and 67 in. – means longer or larger volumes can be supported.
