Upcoming welding, heating conference in Houston

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. and Hobart, in conjunction with E.H. Wachs, will host the third annual Welding and Heating Technology Conference on Sept. 21 in Houston.

The free event will feature educational seminars with keynote speakers, panel and roundtable discussions, live demonstrations and networking opportunities aimed at discovering ways to stay competitive, maximize profitability and improve operational efficiencies in welding and heating operations.

The one-day conference will be held at the ITW Welding Technology Center. Registration information and a full schedule of event activities are available online.

Pipe fabricators, general fabricators, general or mechanical contractors, manufacturers, maintenance and repair operators, welding and gas distributors, educators, students and those in supply and rental positions are encouraged to attend.

The event will conclude with a Miller-hosted American Welding Society Houston Chapter dinner and presentation featuring guest speaker Marcus Luttrell, who authored the New York Times best-selling book “Lone Survivor.”
