Thaman Rubber teams with dredging equipment supplier

Thaman Rubber Co., a supplier of hose and rubber products for the mining industry, entered into an alliance with MRS Greifer, a manufacturer of gravel dredging products.

Thaman Rubber partnered with MRS Greifer to provide clamshell buckets, spare parts and support to customers in the United States. MRS Greifer, based in Helmstadt, Germany, manufactures premier electro-hydraulic clamshells. According to Thaman Rubber, the German company also offers underwater electro-hydraulic dredge buckets, and the bucket sizes range from 5 cu. yd. to 20 cu. yd.

In addition, Thaman Rubber appointed Steve Conway as its electrical engineer. Conway has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry, specializing in plant upgrades and automation. He also comes with knowledge of floating clamshell dredges, clamshell buckets and floating conveyor systems, according to the company.

Thaman Rubber Co., based in Cincinnati, Ohio, serves as a national supplier of conveyor belts, conveyor components, power transmission, hoses, tubing and gaskets for the mining industry.
