Telsmith hires regional sales manager

Telsmith, a manufacturer of mineral processing equipment, hired Victor Ponce as regional sales manager for California.

Ponce joins Telsmith with a background in mechanical engineering, along with experience in the mining and metals industry. He previously worked for companies such as Nova Technologies, FLSmidth North America and Conveyor Engineering.

“We’re thrilled to have Victor join our team,” says Jeff Gray, domestic sales manager of Telsmith. “Victor brings with him many years of industry knowledge and technical expertise that will be very beneficial to our customers in the state of California.”

Ponce holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Idaho, 2007 Idaho E.I.T. certification and current Mine Safety and Health Administration safety certification.

“To continue growing Telsmith presence in the state of California will require hard work and perseverance, both of which our team in Wisconsin and myself are ready to provide to our clients in order to help them meet their goals,” says Ponce.
