Superior Industries’ Trailblazer conveyor can be set up or taken down in as few as two hours. It includes 500 ft. of fully belted and assembled groundline-style conveyor that folds up in a unique accordion style to allow for simpler transportation. It is transported on an attached 84-ft. trailer. Providing this kind of length in a one-load, towable package makes installation as easy as determining a starting point and marking the destination, the company says. Once marked, the truck driver moves forward, and a crew of two to four unloads the conveyor. The crew inserts the supports as the conveyor takes shape, sets take-ups and attaches the conveyor’s hopper. For added productivity, the hopper can be placed at any location along the conveyor. Standard belt sizes are 36 or 42 in. wide by 500 ft. long. Capacity limits range from 1,000 short tph to 1,200 short tph of 100 pounds per cu. ft. density material, with a belt speed of up to 400 ft. per minute.
