By |  April 2, 2014

Scania signed an agreement with Atlas Copco to provide the engines that will power a new line of large portable air compressors.

Scania says the deal implies an annual volume of 800 engines and includes deliveries of its 9-, 13- and 16-litre engines that comply with Tier 4 Final/Stage IV emissions regulations.

“We are pleased with being selected Atlas Copco’s partner of choice to power its compressors,” says Robert Sobocki, senior vice president of Scania Engines. “I am confident and look forward to a successful market introduction.”
