Project STONE workshop educates on aggregates industry

Project STONE (Science Teaching in Ohio’s New Economy) celebrated its 5th year in 2014. This teachers education program includes hands-on learning opportunities including visits to OAIMA (Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association) members operations in Ohio. Teachers learn how to incorporate real-life earth science into inquiry based science lessons including career opportunities in the aggregates industry. This exciting and informative program is co-sponsored by Wright State University, The Ohio Board of Regents and OAIMA. This comprehensive 2-week program is featured in the Project Stone video.
