Edwin Downer accepted the position of general manager for Whayne Supply’s technology division, Richard M. Scott, vice president of sales and marketing, announced. The newly established Whayne Technology Division will oversee the Machine Health Center, Caterpillar Product Link, Mirenco, Magnom, Accugrade GPS systems, Ag machine GPS systems and other technology products and services. This new division will also be working with other Caterpillar dealers to help mining and construction companies reduce diesel engine emissions, fuel consumption and component contamination.
