Pit & Quarry

Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp. announced the groundbreaking of its new 28,000 sq. ft. belt fabrication and hose assembly center outside Milwaukee. Currently located just north of downtown Milwaukee, Kaman’s Engineered Rubber Products Center will relocate to the new facility in the first quarter of 2010. Kaman is building the new facility to support the growth of its engineered rubber products services, specializing in custom fabrication and assembly of industrial hose and light and heavy weight conveyor belting. The company has more than doubled its rubber products output in the last four years. With the company’s significant inventory investments in premium belting and hose brands, the new facility will be poised to assist customers in a variety of markets. Plans include the addition of hydraulic hose capabilities and a second shift as production increases.
