Operations VP named at Somerset Steel

Somerset Steel promoted Donald Walker to vice president of operations.

Walker will oversee estimating, project management, engineering and scheduling.

Prior to his appointment, he served as the company’s senior project manager.

“During his close to 40-year tenure with the company, he has gained the experience and leadership skills that will suit him well in his new position,” says Dan Riggs, president of Somerset Steel. “I am confident that Don will provide strategic support to the operations of our company and will continue to be a valuable team leader in our organization.”
