NSSGA reveals convention keynote speaker

nssga-2017-annual-conventionThe National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) announced that Ken Schmidt, former director of communications strategy at Harley-Davidson Motor Co., will headline the closing general session at the upcoming NSSGA Annual Convention.

According to NSSGA, Schmidt will discuss how he helped transform Harley-Davidson into a dominant brand. He’ll also talk about how businesses can improve their competitiveness and avoid margin-killing commoditization, NSSGA adds.

The session will take place March 6 at 4 p.m. PST.

The 2017 NSSGA Annual Convention is set to take place March 3-7 in Las Vegas. It also will include education sessions on strategic sales training and basic supervisory training, as well as networking opportunities and extracurricular activities, including a performance by the Blue Man Group.
