National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum Blasting Exhibit

By |  August 16, 2016

Visitor Kevin Parker is a retired blaster whose grandfather started Chemical Products in 1964 in Bonne Terre, Mo. Parker’s father worked there and Kevin worked there as well, until the company was sold to Austin Powder in 1986. Parker went on to work for Austin Powders before retiring after 22 years in the business. While perusing the blasting exhibit at the National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum, Parker found an old wooden Austin Powder dynamite box. How cool is that?
