Motion Industries, a distributor of maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts, opened a distribution center in Auburn, Washington.

The location of the distribution center was chosen based on its proximity to Interstates 5, 405 and 90 in Washington, according to the company. The center is just 15 minutes from Sea-Tac International Airport.

The 62,000-plus-sq.-ft. distribution center stocks and ships a range of industrial parts and supplies, including bearings, power transmission products, electrical parts, fluid power components, safety supplies and more. The facility is managed by Ryan Mort and will serve 24 area Motion Industries branch locations daily, as well as the company’s entire North American footprint.

“Opening the new [distribution center’s] doors also means opportunity for our customers in the region to receive their orders even quicker,” says Tim Breen, president and CEO of Motion Industries. “We’re looking forward to delivering a positive business impact on industry in the Pacific Northwest.”
