By |  September 27, 2012

McLanahan Direct Drive Crusher (DDC) twin shaft sizers offer capacities up to 6,000 tph, with less support structure requirements and lower headroom than other crushers, the company says. Available in mechanical or hydraulic drive, power requirements are between 0.25/ton and 0.5 hp/ton. The slow speed rolls are best suited for crushing high calcium limestone, where a cubical product shape and minimal fines/dust are required. This type of crusher is also suitable for crushing stone and ore feeds that have a high moisture or clay content.
