By |  October 3, 2016

maptek_logosenseFly, a Swiss drone maker, signed an agreement with Maptek that enables Maptek to offer customers a data collection and analysis solution.

Under the terms of the agreement, Maptek will provide North American customers in the aggregate and mining industries with senseFly’s mapping and inspection drones (eBee, eBee RTK and albris) alongside its I-Site Studio 3-D modeling software.

“By combining a senseFly UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) with our I-Site Studio 3-D modeling software, customers in the mining industry now have a powerful solution that is driven by survey requirements, as well as the in-depth modeling, change detection and data output requirements demanded by mining professionals,” says Todd Packebush, Maptek director of I-Site sales and business development.

Adds Jean-Christophe Zufferey, senseFly CEO: “By partnering with Maptek we are joining forces with one of the industry’s most respected and recognized solution providers, a company that is perfectly positioned to help bring such benefits to even more mining professionals.”
