Major, a screen media manufacturer, named James Siler vice president of mining markets.

In tandem with Siler’s appointment, the company launched an initiative to increase its presence in the mining sector.

Siler, who has focused on the aggregate market over the years and been a part of Major for 16 years, will now head the sales development of key accounts for the mining market. He will report to André Mathieu, executive vice president of business development.

“Major is very excited to increase the promotion of its Flex-Mat product line, which has shown tremendous value in many of the mining applications where it was implemented over the years,” Siler says. “We are eager to show what this ‘game-changer’ of a product can bring to mining producers.”
