KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens Pugmills
Kolberg-Pioneer pugmills efficiently blend liquid and dry additives to one or two feed materials. With three sizes of bare pugmills and two portable mixing plants, there is flexibility for many applications including cement-treated base, cold-mix asphalt, stabilization and more.
The continuous-mix PLC Automation system will automatically maintain the correct proportions of ingredients as the operator increases or decreases the overall blending rate. Easy-to-use touch screen controls monitor track on-plant motor loads, feed rate and blending rate in real-time.
Timed gears allow for a unique, interlocking spiral paddle arrangement, creating a much more aggressive mixing action for fine-tuned mixes.
