Kolberg-Pioneer Jaw Crusher
Kolberg-Pioneer Inc. has made significant changes to its Pioneer jaw crusher, which features new replaceable wear parts. The crusher’s replaceable jaw die seats and replaceable barrel protector plate are two enhancements. In addition, the crusher provides simpler maintenance with its jaw die wedges, according to Kolberg-Pioneer. In the new design, jaw die retention wedges hold the jaw die in place, providing easier access to the jaw die and easier removal and replacement. In addition, the new design contains lifting holes on all Pioneer jaw dies so lifting lugs no longer need to be welded. Another change is the elimination of the manual shim adjustment method to change the crusher’s closed side setting.
