Frac sand conference slated for August

By |  June 6, 2014

The third annual Frac Sand Supply & Logistics Conference will take place August 21 and 22 in San Antonio, Texas.

The Petroleum Connection, which presents the event, says the growing demand for silica sand and proppants has caused supply constraints and logistical challenges. It organized the conference to help bring together the sand suppliers, E&P companies, well servicers, rail companies, truckers, barges, terminal developers, equipment suppliers, and others who provide technology solutions to help develop a more efficient supply chain.

New this year is moderated roundtable discussions on a variety of topics. The conference also will include speakers, educational sessions, and exhibitors. Attendees will be able to take advantage of numerous networking opportunities, as well as participate in a golf outing.
